Casita Restitution Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that coordinates services for homeowners. We are not a law firm, financial advisor, or construction contractor. Nothing on this website or communicated by our staff constitutes legal, financial, or professional construction advice.

When you retain an attorney, contractor, or financial counselor through an introduction from us, the professional relationship is between you and that professional — not us. We do not control their work and are not responsible for their services.

Submitting an application, communicating with our staff, or using this website does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Casita Restitution Coalition or any attorney you are introduced to through us. Such a relationship forms only upon a separate written engagement agreement between you and an attorney.

We treat your information confidentially per our Privacy Policy, but communications with us are not protected by attorney-client privilege. If you need to share privileged information, do so only with a retained attorney.

Every case is different. We cannot and do not guarantee specific outcomes, timelines, or results. Working with us does not ensure you will avoid foreclosure, recover damages, complete a construction project, or resolve a dispute favorably.

We review every application but cannot accept every case. Our capacity is limited, and we reserve the right to decline any application for any lawful reason. Decline decisions are not appealable.

Donations are non-refundable except as required by law or in cases of administrative error. Recurring donations can be cancelled at any time by emailing us. Casita Restitution Coalition is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization; contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility in your specific situation.

You agree to provide truthful and accurate information in your assessment, application, and donation submissions. We may decline to continue working with applicants who provide materially false information.

All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, and code — is the property of Casita Restitution Coalition and protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may view and share our public content for personal, non-commercial use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Casita Restitution Coalition, its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or services. Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you have donated to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
